Abstract

The top-tier specification for organic coatings on architectural aluminium, covering fluoropolymer (typically PVDF-based, e.g. Kynar 500 / Hylar 5000) coatings rated for 10-year South Florida natural-exposure weathering. Specifies salt-spray (4000 hours per ASTM B117), chalk resistance, gloss retention (≥ 50% at 10 years), and colour fade limits. The reference for premium architectural finishes globally.
